Veneers
Usually made of ceramics  bonded to the facial tooth surface in order to alter the shape and color of the tooth for either functional or cosmetic reasons.

Emergency care
If you have pain coming from a tooth, need a denture repair, need a cracked tooth repaired or even an extraction, we can take care of your problem.

Bridges
This is an option for filling the space created by a missing tooth. It is formed to look like the missing tooth, and it takes its place in the mouth. The sides of a bridge use the two surrounding teeth for support, hence the name. A bridge replaces the missing tooth both functionally and cosmetically.

Cosmetic dentistry
At Dr. Matti’s office a wide range of cosmetic options are offered. Some of these options are whitening, smile design,  veneers, bonding, and all ceramic/porcelain crowns.

In office whitening
This is an in-office procedure for whitening natural teeth. Licensed dentists are able to use stronger materials to whiten teeth therefore having a much more dramatic result than over the counter products available. In office whitening can be done with uv light activated bleaching components (ZOOM) or custom fabricated bleaching trays that can be used at home.

Crowns
An artificial replacement to restore a broken down tooth, which covers all the remaining tooth structures, making it look and function just like a natural tooth.

Dentures
An artificial substitute for missing teeth and gums because there are no remaining teeth.

Partial denture
A prosthetic device containing artificial teeth supported on a framework and attached to natural teeth with retainers and rests, removed by the patient for cleaning. This is usually an option for patients who are partially edentulous.

Fillings
Fillings are done to remove decay, and replace the affected tooth structure.  Caught early enough, cavities can be treated easily and painlessly. If not treated decay can lead to tooth pain and/or infection.

Implants
Dental implants are substitute tooth root that allow replacement of the entire missing tooth. Made of titanium or titanium alloys, they are shaped in the form of natural tooth roots and are placed directly into the jaw bone under the gum. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support.

Non-surgical gum treatments
Periodontal disease is generally painless, and most people are unaware that they have it until a dental examination reveals the condition. Periodontal disease is mainly caused by the bacteria found in dental plaque, these bacteria produce toxins  that can irritate the gum. Prolonged irritation may cause the gums to separate from the teeth, creating “pockets” of spaces between tooth and gum tissue where bacteria thrive.

Left untreated, as the disease progresses the pockets deepens. Eventually, the disease may cause a tooth’s entire support structure to become so week that the tooth becomes loose, falls out or has to be extracted.

Sealants
A dental sealant is a plastic coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth. Grooves in these teeth are so narrow that a toothbrush cannot fit into the spaces to remove plaque . Dental sealants prevent dental decay in the grooves.
